🔧 Meet Corey Owens | Shop Manager

For the past 14 years, Corey has been the man behind the machines at Bur Oak Group, Inc.

As our Shop Manager, Corey handles pretty much anything and everything involving the equipment Bur Oak uses. Trucks, mowers, skid steers, snow equipment, and whatever other piece of machinery rolls, cuts, digs, pushes, hauls, or inevitably decides it doesn’t want to start that morning… Corey’s the guy. 🔧🚜

Keeping a landscaping and construction company moving takes a LOT of equipment, and Corey works behind the scenes making sure our crews have what they need to get out the door and get the job done.

Then winter arrives. ❄️

During snow season, Corey is always on call, because when dozens of pieces of equipment are out battling a storm, something somewhere is eventually going to need a little attention. While everyone else is hoping their truck keeps running, Corey’s phone is probably ringing. 📱😂

After 14 years, there probably isn’t much Bur Oak owns that Corey hasn’t worked on, fixed, maintained, rescued, or had a few choice words with. When he’s finally off the clock, Corey heads home to his wife and three kids, where we’re guessing the phrase “Dad, can you fix this?” follows him there too. 😂

His philosophy: If it’s broken, bring it to Corey. If Corey can’t fix it… we may have a problem. 🔧🌳❄️
